Bond, James Bond. One more time.

The rumour's out there. Seems like Judi Dench said in an interview that Pierce Brosnan will be Bond once again in the next installment of the saga, Casino Royale. Brosnan wanted Quentin Tarantino back in the day to write and direct this new 007 flick, but Martin Campbell, who already directed Goldeneye, will take the chair. Or maybe not? I'm a Bond fan, and I'm one of those who think that there's no substitute for good ole Pierce right now, he IS the role. I also worship Tarantino, so Quentin writing and directing a Bond film starring Brosnan would be like the most perfect, shaken not stirred, vodka martini I could ever imagine. But I don't think that will happen. Sadly enough...

The franchise needs to be shaken up a bit. There has not been a bond movie to rival Sean Connery since "Man with the Golden Gun" or "Live and Let Die". This ship needs a new captain (director). Brosnan is OK. Though he is a bit of a girly man for Bond. He is good, but for gods sake, hit the damn weights.

Brosnan is the best Bond ever, but he needs a 'real' director to finish his contribution to the saga. Tarantino would be a fuckin' great choice, but I rather DePalma ;)

I'm an old school fan and I agree that Brosnan is the best Bond ever. A bit of a girly man? C'mon, anonymous... BTW, Man With The Golden Gun and Live And Let Die are Moore's, not Connery's ;D

Oh, I didn't get it... :P I think all Brosnan's Bonds are great and they're up there with the best titles of the series.
